and you can do the same thing in NWN 2 and Unreal if you really want to. The problem is, a lot of people just don't.
There were at least 7 of them in the replies to the first comment.
The problem is a lot of your findings are unfounded. Because ~50% of people say they'd be more likely to purchase on steam, for example, doesn't take into account how many of the people that answered that question already prefer steam regardless.
There's a couple other things like that. It's not the surveyors job to interpret the data a lot of the time. Just present the findings, and do the interpretation in a separate piece.
The most important pieces of data by far ...
If you're going to whine about his opinion, at least have something to prove him wrong. I've played it, and I can tell you, this game doesn't warrant the hype it's getting. Killzone 2 should have the hype LBP does, because that game looks pretty good. LBP is hard to control, and will get boring quickly for a lot of people. That's what everyone should be worried about. 2.5D is just flat out counter intuitive.
It's a lot more work to make even simple objects than a lot of people th...
Was this done by a 16 year old? They had the survey up for ~2 days, it only has ~200 votes, and it's really poorly written with some conclusions being either obvious or logically unfounded.
Just pop the graphs up and let someone else interpret. I think a bigger site would have better results. If IGN or something did this, they'd get a much better cross section of the market.
any weapon in condemned/2.
rentals are a huge part of the market. With DD the prices on it will drop like rocks too. If netflix keeps increasing it's streaming library, or starts using the DiVX web player and streaming HD, that's a very real alternative to buying movies. Collectors will always buy the physical format, but people who just want a movie to watch are going to love DD.
I know 15 people with HDTVs. One of them owns a Blu-Ray player.
Not everybody cares about quality when it comes at a $400 price tag.
Blu-Ray, like DVD, won't catch on till it comes cheaper. I can get 3 month old movies at walmart for 10 bucks. I can get a movie AND a dvd player for just over the price of a single Blu-Ray Disc. It will not be standard till They start lowering the price of players.
The difference between BR and DVd is that DVD had no real ...
This is just sony being shady. They have to straighten up their business practices or everyone is going to think they're the devil. It's just bad business.
Oh crap... I forgot it's not M$... m'bad
With every 360 you get replaced they send you an apology. It's right there... in the box...
It was spot on if you're retarded.
First and foremost, AS THE OTHER GUY SAID, M$ can't force anyone to sign a contract. All they can do is fire/not hire someone for not signing (or go into negotiations if you're that valuable).
M$'s legal department knows what it's doing. It won't go out suing every tom dic and harry it thinks it just might have a case against. If they sue, you better believe they have a pretty good case at least to the point where a counter-suit wou...
No... no major corporation would hire someone that not only broke an NDA, but got sued for it.
His career is fuxed.
L4D? Banjo?
BUH
Chances are they don't want the ensemble name going too far away from M$ though. It looked like they were going to help out the executives of ensemble in making their own new studio. Lower people look like they're getting shifted around other M$ places.
it shouldn't be read into too much.
Is add a post-rendering filter.
tbh though, I think people need to stop whining. You've only seen 2 environments and you don't know how the mood of all of them is supposed to fit into the rest of the game. It's very possible by the end of the game, the worlds will look just like the altered video, except you won't lose the detail on the non-environment parts of the picture.
Bungie has a publishing contract with MGS. Microsoft has first dibs on publishing rights to any game made by bungie.
Also, Ensemble isn't shutting down until they finish Halo Wars.

Is for PC.
but I forgot what it was...
Yea... and when I needed a fork to eat with I went straight to boston store and buy a gold plated flatware set.
Obviously if you take the most expensive route with the highest cost options it's going to cost you more. Don't blame M$ because you're dumb.
The only point it proves is that charging royalties per disc is dumb.
Did 4 discs stop you from playing FFVII? It's not going to affect every game, and it's not going to stop people developing for the 360. If M$ is smart and gets it through their heads that it's ok to have multiple discs, it really is a non-issue for 99% of games.
